How long does the home buying process take?
Once you are pre-approved, finding the right home varies, but from accepted offer to closing usually runs about 30 to 45 days on a VA loan. I keep lending, inspection, and appraisal on schedule so your timeline holds, which matters most when you are on orders.
What closing costs should a VA buyer expect?
Expect lender fees, title and escrow, and the VA funding fee, though the funding fee is waived for veterans with a service-connected disability rating. In many cases we can negotiate seller credits to offset costs. I give you a clear estimate up front so there are no surprises at the table.
